A family owned and operated cakery! Our lead baker, EJ, comes from a long line of cooks and bakers. As a child she enjoyed many homemade treats from the kitchens of her great-grandmother, grandmother and her mother. At an early age EJ would try new recipes, and was fearless in the kitchen. She would bake cakes, pies and cookies for friends and family.
As life progressed EJ continued to have a passion for baking. Eventually she opened a bakery in Fayetteville, Georgia. After three years, the store front was closed to focus on family. Thanks to a long list of loyal customers, EJ's Sweets continued to operate from a bake site in Jonesboro, and later in McDonough.
Today we are fortunate to serve a loyal customer base, along with a host of new customers and brides. Our specialty is creating simply elegant wedding cakes. We also create custom cakes for all occasions. Give us a call today to service your upcoming events!
